Any installer can roll out turf. Almost none of it was made for paws, urine, digging, and heat, which is why generic turf smells and breaks down. K9Grass® was built for exactly that, drains 100 times faster than standard turf, stays antimicrobial edge to edge, and holds up to the hardest dogs in the country.
Renowned dog behaviorist Cesar Millan is collaborating with K9Grass, the ultimate turf designed exclusively for dogs. K9Grass offers a clean, resilient, and hygienic environment, ensuring your yard stays pristine and your dogs remain joyful. With this collaboration, Cesar and ForeverLawn are committed to giving your pets the best.

Regular grass can get churned up by dogs, leading to muddy paw prints tracked into the house and a generally messy yard.
Dog urine can kill natural grass and create unsightly brown patches.
Cleaning up after dogs on natural grass can be time-consuming.
Large congregations of dogs can lead to unsanitary conditions.
Wet or muddy weather can limit a dog’s ability to play outside.
Maintaining a healthy lawn can be time-consuming and expensive.

Yes, most brands of artificial turf are safe for dogs. K9Grass® synthetic turf by ForeverLawn is completely safe and non-toxic to humans and animals. Plus, all ForeverLawn products are manufactured in the USA, ensuring that materials and manufacturing processes meet high standards.
In addition, the no-infill design of K9Grass synthetic turf prevents dogs from digging up and chewing on bits of rubber, which can cause digestive upset or choking.
Artificial grass is a smart surfacing solution for dogs that offers many benefits over natural grass and other surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, gravel, brick, or stone. Selecting a turf product like K9Grass that’s designed specifically for dogs will offer you and your dogs so many advantages over standard turf.
K9Grass synthetic turf provides:
Three reasons not to use infill in artificial grass for dogs:
Having infill in artificial grass for dogs is essentially like having a litter box you can’t change.
Synthetic grass surfacing for dog-friendly facilities and residences should be designed and constructed to provide a safe, nontoxic, clean, and comfortable environment for dogs, and K9Grass synthetic turf does just that.
Our dog-friendly turf can be installed almost anywhere you want a natural look and durable surface for dogs. Below are the most common places where we’ve installed K9Grass synthetic turf.
Most types of artificial grass are designed with four to six holes per square foot to be able to drain out water and liquid waste. However, few brands of artificial turf are designed with edge-to-edge drainage that allows water and liquid waste to drain from 100% of the surface like K9Grass synthetic turf. 100% edge-to-edge drainage is a critical component of artificial grass for dogs in order to prevent odors and unclean conditions.
Professional installation will ensure that once the liquid passes through the turf, it continues to drain and evacuate.
Artificial grass does not stay as cool as natural grass, which has water running through it, but does not absorb and radiate heat like pavement, rock, or brick. If you are concerned about your dogs’ paws getting too hot, we recommend making sure there’s a shaded area for them to retreat to.
The warranty for K9Grass by ForeverLawn is 15 years and covers fade and excessive wear. ForeverLawn offers the most advanced 15-year warranty and superior warranty tracking system, the ForeverLawn Closed Loop Warranty System (CLWS). The CLWS connects the home or facility owner directly with the warranty provider in the event of a claim.
K9Grass synthetic turf is designed to inhibit dogs from digging through it.
Blades that can be pulled on one end and completely removed by a curious dog can be a choking hazard, and could end up provoking dogs to keep digging. It is ideal to have the blades interwoven with fibers to create the backing like we’ve done with K9Grass. When in doubt about product design quality, we advise that you request a sample and test it.
The knitted, Flow-Through Backing™ provides 100% edge-to-edge drainage at rates in excess of 1,500 inches per hour up to 3,000 inches per hour, which is about 100 times faster than standard synthetic grass.
